EGR Valves - Don't even think it.

The EGR valve , exhaust gas recirculation , is a regular feature in most modern engines. Unfortunately it is also one of the most unreliable and , in a lot of cases most expensive parts you will have to replace. The temptation is to source a cheap far east import to fix this problem but this can cause a multitude of problems not least a massive hike in your fuel consumption.

The only sensible course of action is to buy the right part and here at Autovaux we only sell genuine GM or O.E. parts made by the original manufacturer, for example , Wahle , Pierburg or Delphi. Vectra B - Here to Stay.

The Vectra Mk 1 or Vectra B was one of the most popular cars on our roads in the 1990's. This ground breaking model has an army of fans thanks to an array of models from the 1.6  eight valve to the range topping 2.6 Gsi. Many of these beloved cars found themselves victims of the scrappage scheme and as we near 10 years since the last production runs the availability of good quality low priced parts will start drying up. Astra Estate debut in Paris.

The new Astra Sports Tourer debuted at the Paris Motor Show this week and is yet another stunner from the Vauxhall / Opel stable,  they're that proud of it's looks that it isn't an estate anymore it's a "sports tourer" in much the same vein as the Insignia load lugger.
